Q. hello is invisalign totally invisible or will people be able to see i am having braces I have heard it can be quite painful too is this true?
A. hi and thank you for your message
invisalign is hardly noticeable, I have patients giving me feedback telling me that none of their friends and family noticed that they were wearing invisalign aligners.
the discomfort during invisalign treatment is very subjective and depends on the person’s pain threshold but most people complain of only a bit of tenderness for the first few days. The discomfort usually reduced after the first few days
hope this helps

Q. i have a big gap between my front teeth and also one on the left hand side i am thinking of getting some lumineers but somebody told me that invisalign would be better than lumineers but i am worried that invisalign might hurt. DO you think lumineers would be better than invisalign and also does invisalign hurt at all?
A. hi
it is very difficult to say what the best treatment option is for you, but invisalign is a great way of improving the appearance of crooked or spaced teeth.
the treatment itself is not painful but some tenderness and discomfort can occur after inserting the aligners as this means the teeth are starting to move. the discomfort usually reduces within a few days and painkillers can be help reduce the tenderness.
I would recommend you go for a consultation to see which is the best treatment option for you
regards
Raha

Q. Hi Dr, I just want to know how much would this full invisalign treatment cost? I have mild crowding. Thanks
A. Dear, thank you for your enquiry. You may have mild crowding, but to create space to align the teeth you may want the cheaper option of filing down between the teeth or you may want the better option of moving the side and back teeth. This costs more. So without seeing your teeth it would be difficult.
We normally charge 3000-4000 for full arch cases

Q. hello does invisalign cost more than veneers i went to see my dentist for straightening my teeth with veneers and he has suggested that invisalign and teeth whitening would be better. would it cost me more for 10 veneers at your practice or invisalign
A. hello,
It really depends on the teeth. Why do not you book an appointment with me and we can see which option is more suitable for you. We could also have a thorough discussion on the lenght and details of the treatment and also the associated costs.

Q. Is Invisialign suitable for an adult who has 4 upper tooth implants? Await a reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
A. It depends where the implants are and if these ‘teeth’ need moving. Normally they are at the back and would not get in the way of the orthdontic movements.

Q. I have trouble taking my aligners out, putting them in is no problem but taking them out is difficult, do you know the easiest way to remove them when I want to eat?
A. Were you given any intrsuctions by your dentist? He/she should have provided you with an instrument to help remove the aligners

Q. I am thinking of having the 6 month brace but my dentist says it is not as good as invisalign for moving teeth at the back and we need to move back teeth to create space for front teeth to be straight do you agree that invisalign would be better for back teeth?
A. It really depends on what your primary concern is. 6 months smile is a great treatment to improve the front teeth, approximately the front 10 that you see when you smile. If you need more treatment to the back teeth I would recommend invisalign or traditional fixed braces which can take approx 18 months such as Damon braces.

Q. Hello is invisalign teen more expensive than normal invisalign? I went to see my orthodontist based in London City and he said that my sons treatment with Invisalign teen would be £4000 and I have seen adverts for adult invisalign for less than £2000 so was wondering why is the teen one for my child more expensive?
A. Hello,
The Invisalign Teen treatment may be more expensive than the standard Adult Invisalign treatment. It will vary depending upon the practice that you go to see.
The Invisalign Teen treatment does come with additional features that the adult invisalign treatment does not such as power ridges, compliance indicators and eruption compensators.
Hope this helps.

Q. i am getting invislign but I have a porcelain tooth will the cement break off when invisalign moves this?
A. Hello,
Usually a crown is not a problem especially if the particular tooth is not even moved during the treatment. However, as always, please consult your dentist.
