Two clinics gave greatly different estimates. Why was this?

Hi. I have had two consultations with two seperate dentists about getting invisalign treatment. For some reason, they each gave differing outlooks on how long the treatment would last and the cost. Why would this have happened? Should I try to get a third estimate from another dentist to see what they say?

I am what you may call a nervous patient but really want to get my teeth sorted out. They are not too crooked but are very noticeable to me. I think invisalign is the route I will take. I have seen that some clinics offer special services for nervous patients like sedation. I would just like some more info on this if possible?

Are you provided with a container for invisalign braces by dentist?

I have already had my moulds done for invisalign braces, and will be getting them put on in two weeks. I would just like to know whether it is the norm for the dentist to provide you with a tray of sorts to store your aligners when you take them out to eat?

How long before my voice is normal after getting invisalign braces?

I just had my invisalign braces put in yesterday. My voice is a bit messed up and there is minimal pain, but its not too bad. I would just like to know how long it takes before your voice returns to its normal way (if it will that is)?

Are cavities while wearing invisalign just a coincidence?

I have now been wearing invisalign braces for aroung ten months. My teeth have always been slightly crooked, which is why I am wearing braces (duh) but I never had any other problems with my teeth. Recently however, while undergoing invisalign treatment I have needed treatment for three cavities. Do you think this is just a coincidence or linked?

The edge of my aligner is sticking into my gums. What should I do?

I am now wearing my first set of trays but have a problem with them. The edges on the side of the tray are sticking into the side of gum and are really annoying when I speak. Is there anything I can do about this, or will it just go away eventually? Should I see my dentist?

Will crack in aligner affect teeth movement?

I am into my second month of invisalign treatment, but have notived a small crack on my latest set. The crack is right at the front and I only just noticed it. Don’t have a clue what may have caused it. Will this affect the movement the aligner causes? The gap is pretty small so I don’t see how it can, but it still worried me slightly.

Is there such a thing as cleaning your teeth too much?

I used to clean my teeth twice a day before getting my invisalign braces but now do so religiously. Is there such a thing as cleaning your teeth too much? When ever I eat something I feel like I need to floss my teeth to make sure there is no food stuck.
