Why would dentists give different opinions on whether I can use invisalign?

I have been to see two different orthodontists to ask about invisalign treatment and whether I was a suitable patient. One of them said I was, while another said my teeth were too crowded for the treatment to work, and recommended fixed braces. Why would this be the case?

I went on holiday and forgot my aligners. Will this cause any problems?

Plausible for invisalign on top teeth and fixed braces on bottom?

Is there any pain when you change to your next set of aligners?

Is there any special product to help with aligners rubbing cheeks?
