Q. Can invisalign help me even though three of my teeth are already at the veneered? Should i just get rid of the veneers and allow invisalign to copletely transform my smile?
A. It depends on your smile sometime I straighten the teeth first and then replace the veneers to create your ideal smile.

Q. When I was about 14 I had braces to treat a slight crookedness of my teeth and used metal braces. Now I am 22 and the slight crookedness has returned and it is really affecting my confidence. Reading up now I see many dentists say to wear retianers forever pretty much. But my dentist never told me and my teeth have gone back to the way they are. I am wondering if Invisalign will be able to help me and also what kinfd of cost I would be looking at because of my age. Thanks.
A. hi
The cost for invisalign can start from £1500 and cost depends on complexity. It is never too late to have orthodontics! I see plenty of adults of all ages! I had braces myself at the age of 27!

Q. I am currently at an NHS dentist and I get all my usual treatment done there. my dentist has recommended me to get fixed braces but I have flatly said no and want Invisalign. He obvisiuly doesn’t offer this and told me I would have to go private. I would really like to get this treatment but I don’t really want to leave my current dentist either. what can I do about this? Can I get Invisalign with another dentist and get my routine check ups done with my NHS dentist?
A. Of course you can I treat lots of patients just for their invisalign. Find a good invisalign dentist and keep up with your appointments at your regular dentist.

Q. Do uyou have any tips for the diet to keep during invisalign. I am going to try to use this opportunity to help me lose wait and any advice you have or that your pateients have mentioned to you would help thanks.
A.
It is important to keep a healthy and balanced diet and avoid sweet foods, fizzy and acidic drinks to prevent decay. A lot of my patients have told me they have lost some weight during invisalign treatment simply because they don’t snack as much as they used to

Q. Will invisalign close up small spaces or will traditional braces work better? Thanks
A. invisalign is very good for closing spaces , I carry out lots of these cases and they work really well. You must wear your retainers once the space is closed or they will reopen.

Q. It is my two front teeth that cross over one another and this makes it horrible for me when I smile as it is of course right at the front of my mouth. Do you know if i can get my teeth straightened without the need for the removal of teeth which i really do not want though i do still have my wisdome teeth. my teeth and gums are in a good nad healthy condition if this makes anyd difference.
A. It is possible to straighten teeth without extractions but this depends on each case. It is very difficult to say whether this is possible in your case without looking at your bite, the amount of crowding and your jaw sizes etc.

Q. I am 12 years old and my teeth are crooked. this has made my bite bad and sometimes i am accidentally biting my tongue which hurts and is a pain! Can you tell me if I can get invisalign maybe invisalign teen as i am only 12. i realise this is private but i have not asked my parents about this yet. just getting some info cheers.
A. I would be best if I could get you in to see what position your teeth are currently in and to see whether you have any baby teeth and assess the rest of the adult teeth. I would be able to tell you if Invisalign teen would work on your teeth after this consultation.

Q. I had attached metal braces when I was younger and didn’t like them all that much. Now, I am in my early 20s and one of the front teeth has overlapped one of the other teeth. I don’t know why this has happened and if this is something that I have done wrong since my braces treatment but I really want to get it treated. My budget is notall that much and I am pretty sure that I saw 6 month smiles is cheaper than invisalign but can you advise me on what treatment would be suitable for my particular problem? Can you tell me if consultations are free for these treatments and if teeth whitening is usually inculded. Thanks.
A. dear Sir/Madam,
many thanks for contacting us.
Invisalign is a form of treatment that can be done aggressively and damage your teeth or properly by moving the side teeth out of the way first.
Sure 6 month smiles is cheaper and quicker, but do you really want a dentist filing awau the enamel between your front teeth?
as for free consultations and free tooth whitening, I would recommend these as unimportant.
If you want to have a second stage of orthodontics then do it properly and have your dentist look at the whole mouth and have full Invisalign, which will take longer and be more expensive.
I have yet to treat/finish a case within 6 months as I do not believe in enamel cutting at the front

Q. I just started my treatment and would like some advice on removing and putting the appliance back in. i find it hurts a tad when i do this and it can take a bit of effort. i am worried i may break them if apply too much strain. any advice?
A. You need to be gentle and patient, the first 6 weeks are the hardest you will soon get used to them everyone does. Just take your time putting them in and out and try not to bend them.
