When do invisalign results become noticeable?

December 14th, 2009
Q.
My dentist told me that it would take a whole four months before I start to see any real results with my invisalign. I have just started treatment but that seems like a really far time away to see any results? Does this sound reasonable to you?

Why is my aligner suddenyl not fitting correctly?

December 14th, 2009
Q.
I just put in my ninth aligner but have noticed that it does not fir as uit should. It seems to place over my front teeth incorrectly so that it does not fit into place properly. My dentist told me to wear it for one extra week but it still doesn’t seem right. She has now said she is going to order another one and that I will need to get more attachments when I do. Why has this happened? I wear it for the recommended time.

Can invisalign close gaps between front teeth?

December 11th, 2009
Q.
All my teeth are straight but at the front of my mouth my two upper front teeth have a gap between them. I absolutely hate it and want to get it fixed. Can invisalign do this? I guess it would require not only these teeth being moved but also the ones around it?
