My teeth are moving back to their crooked position after previous braces treatment. Can Invisalign help me?

I have read that the consultation for Invisalign is free with some dentists, but what does this involve?

I have read that the consultation is free with many dentists but what about the moulds and all that stuff that needs to be taken. Is that the later stage when treatment is definitely going ahead? If so what happens at the constaultion? Does the dentist just check my teeth to see if I am suitable for treatment? Is it a full treatment cost that I will receive or will there be things down the lines that come up?,
