Can I get teeth whitenend half way through Invisalign?

Q.
Teeth whiteninig – can I get this done half way through my invislaign treatment? My teeth were discoloured to begin with but are getting even worse because of the invisalign I think, even though I do clean my teeth to a good ratio. I was going to get my teeth whitened at the end of treatment anyway so maybe it is not such a bad thing. I have attachments if that will make any difference to how the teeth whitening will work?

Is wisdom teeth extraction for Invisalign safe?

Q.
I am going to be getting my wisdom teeth removed to free up space for invisalign and to stop the buggers from further messing up my teeth. However, I am getting more worried about the procedure the closer it gets. Could there be any complications? How long after can I get moulds for invisalign and get treatment going?

Can I wear mouthguard with aligners in at night?

Q.
I grind my teeth in the night. Therefore there is not much I can do about it except try and ease back anythings that may make me stressed. Anyway, I want invisalign to straighten my teeth but but am worried that me grinding my teeth at night may damage them. I guess I will not be able to wear my mouthguard at night with the aligners? Will I be okay to get invisalign?

Can I have invisalign even though I have had fixed braces before?

When I was in my teens I wore a fixed appliance to fix my crooked teeth. At the time I also had to have four teeth removed to make room. Now I am in my late twenties and my teeth have become crooked again though not as bad. Do you know if Invisalign can help me? Will the same problem not just happen again after years?

Why are attachments discoloured?

For some reason the two attachments on my front teeth have turned a horrible stained colour. I drink white wine but this is not red wine for heavens sake. Is this the cuase? I’m not sure I can do without a nice glass of wine after a hard day at work!
