I have been told I am borderline for Invisalign. Should I get a second opinion?

I’ve been for a consultation for invisalign and been told that I’m borderline – leaning towards it not being suitable. I’m confused as i have overcrowding and potentially 3 teeth needing to be extracted. My teeth are generally straight so i thought i would be suitable. Would I be able to discontinue my Invisalign treatment as the aligners are straining my lips?

Having recently started my invisalign treatment I have begun to experience complications. I have an open bite which has added strain on my lips and chin because of the extra thickness of the aligners over my teeth. As a consequence I am seriously considering stopping the treatment.
