I want for an Invisalign consultation because I would like to straigten my teeth (which aren’t particularly bad). The dentist said that I had a problem with my bite which only jaw surgery could solve. I DEFINITELY do not want to get jaw surgery. Could I go ahead with the Invisalign regardless or should I get a second opinion?

I have just been quoted £5,000 for Invisalign, this sounds like alot, my teeth are in not so bad a condition, why is it so much?

If I get Invisalign and the results are unsatisfactory can I get a refund or anything? is there any kind of braces ‘pre -nup’ that I can arrange with my dentist? it is a lot of money to spend without getting any kind of guarantee. thanks

I want to straighten/whiten my teeth. My dentist as recommneded Invisalign followed by whitening. I can’t really see the advantage of this over just whacking in a mouthful of veneers. What do you think?

Hi,
I’ve had invisalign for the past 3 months. When I went to my dentist, I told him that I was not happy with the gaps in my lower teeth. He told me that the only was to fix them was with braces. When I went in to get my aligners I had the buttons put on by his assistant. She had little experience and messed them up so the Dr had to redo them all! Also, he never gave me an explanation of my treatment, he didn’t tell me how long my treatment was, why it was so long (2 years), and he didn’t tell me why I had to wear rubberbands. When I go in for my 6 week visits I have only seen his assistant. Is this normal? Can I switch dentists?
