Is there a limit to the number of refinements you can have?

November 23rd, 2009
Q.
Is there a limit to the number of refinements most clinics offer at the end of invisalign treatment or is this in a way unlimited until the job is a gooden? I am coming toward the end of mine but think there is still room for improvement?

Cost difference between invisalign correction of arches?

November 23rd, 2009
Q.
Am I okay to do invisalign for both my top and bottom teeth? Will this increase the price quite a bit or will it stay quite close to that which is advertised on private clinics’ websites?

True that invisalign can’t control movement of teeth roots?

November 20th, 2009
Q.
Is it truth that invisalign cant control the movement of the teeth roots? I saw some research studies that invisalign can’t move the teeth roots as that of the metal braces and caused tilt axial alignment of teeth roots, which caused the teeth to move back to the orginal positions. So invisalign is not suitable for extraction cases.

Does invisalign work well for gapped teeth?

November 20th, 2009
Q.
Does the invisalign system work well for gapped teeth or is it only for slightly crooked teeth? There is a bit of a gap between all of the teeth at the front of my mouth so I am unsure if invisalign will be able to treat this?

Dentists have different view on whether I can go with invisalign?

November 20th, 2009
Q.
I am in my late 30s and have had three consultations for braces now. I said to all that I want invisalign. One said yes, another metal braces and the final one said I could go with either. My teeth are crooked but not too bad. Should I go with the one whod said I could then? What would have made them all have relatively different opinions? Don’t they all follow the same guidelines?

What are the benefits of the invisalign system?

November 20th, 2009
Q.
What is it thart makes invisalign so different to other brace systems? My brother had fixed braces and I just want to know what is so different about invisalign? My teeth are in need of straightening so that is why I ask.

Which of invisalign and veneers is the better option?

November 20th, 2009
Q.
Would you be able to help me with my decision whether or not i should go with invisalign or porcelain veneers? I have been told that I would need to wear invisalign for around 10 months where as the porcelain veneers would offer instant results i guess. However, I am not sure about the prospect of having fake teeth. Which option would be most beneficial to my teeth?

Can invisalign help to improve my bite?

November 18th, 2009
Q.
Can invisalign help to improve the bite. My bite has never felt quite right as it overlaps more than it shoud. I think it is called an open or closed bite, something along those lines anyway. I know invisalign is good for straightening teeth but what about this?

Has invisalign messed up my bite?

November 18th, 2009
Q.
I am coming to the end of my treatment with just three weeks left and my teeth do look a lot better but my bite feels strange. My teeth do not close as they used to and I think they have been moved wrongly. Does this ever happen for patients? What can be done if this is the case?
