Q. After searching on the internet, I have noticed that tooth whitening and Vivera Retainers are available after Invisalign. Does your practice offer this included with a quoted price? Also what is the price range for Invisalign patients with overbite?

The best is to book an appointment for a consultation. Invisalign starts from £2500 but it depens on the teeth. We always give you a full treatment plan including everything before we start.

Q. Is 60 too old to get invisalign braces? My teeth are not too bad but now that I have a bit of extra money lying around i would love to get them looking their best. would i be okay to do this? also, i have heard that tooth whitening can be a part of the invisalign process? is this included in the initial cost?
A. Hello,
There is no age limit for Invisalign so if your teeth and gum are healthy you could be a great candidate for this type of Orthodontic tretament. The last aligner could be used for bleaching. At our clinic it is included in the price of Invisalign.

Q. I know that you are able to use aligners to do tooth whitening, but I would also like to know whether this is possible with the retainers you are given at the end of treatment? What does all this teeth whitening as part of invisalign involve?
A. Yes you can use the retainers.
The aligners or retainers essential hold tooth whitening gel in close contact with the tooth, this allows the whitening gel to work and the teeth to get whiter.

Q. Is it a bad idea to get your teeth whitened while still doing invisalign treatment? I have about six months until my treatment ends but would like to get my teeth whitened. I will of course wait though if it is a bad idea.
A. You can get whitening gel to place inside your aligners, ask your dentist.

Invisalign aligner can be used to whiten teeth.
Its relatively safe as long as you follow the recommendation of your dentist.

Q. I have read that invisalign can somehow be used to whiten teeth, I think near the end of treatment? How is this possible? Thank you.
A. The aligner can be used to whiten teeth by putting some recommended whitening gel inside the aligner for a few hours a day or overnite over a period of a few days to weeks.

Q. I have read that it is sometimes possible to get teeth whitened with aligners during invisalign treatment. Is this at an extra cost, or is part of the package usually?

Q. Have many of your patients who are undergoing invisalign treatment reported slight discolouration of their teeth? I am half way through my treatment and have noticed that my teeth are not as white as they once were. I am now considering teeth whitening because of this.
A. I have a couple to have said their teeth are more stained, however I know that these people drink a lot of tea. We always give whitening gels to all our orthodontic patients after treatment.

Q. Is it possible to get your teeth whitened during invisalign treatment, or am I best waiting? I would really like to get it done now.
A. Hello,
It is possible, as long as you do not have any attachments on your teeth. If you have, wait until you finish with the trays and use your last aligner or retainer for bleaching.

Q. Is it a bad idea to get your teeth whitened just before you start invisalign treatment, or is this okay to do?
A. It would be better to whiten your teeth after your teeth have been straightened.
If the teeth are overlapped or very crossed over, the whitening gel may not evenly touch the entire front surface of the tooth and it may result in a difference in whiteness on a front tooth.
