I’ve snapped one of my attachments, what will my orthodontist do?

Q. Hi! erm i\’ve managed to snap one of my attachments completely by accident! I\’m due to see my ortho but just wondering what he might say? Will i have to start the braces again cos\’ i\’ve been doing it for ages now! thanks,

A. Your orthodontist will either replace the attachment using your current set of braces or perhaps if the desired tooth movement has been achieved, he/she may wish to leave it off your tooth. I wouldn\’t worry about it.
