Q. hi, i finished my invisalign tratment about 6 months ago.I had them for over crowding and i am happy with the results but one tooth on the top never seemed to become straight even after my final braces and a couple more to try and straighten it.Is that normal?and also i have not been given a retainer i was told to wear my last trays as retainers.is that ok?because i dont want them to move back.thank you for your time,
A. Hi, Some movements of the teeth are difficult to achieve with Invisalign but I would go back and check with the dentist or orthodontist who did the treatment for you to express that you not entirely satisfied. I normally give the patient a new set of retainers after the treatment and the patient keeps the last trays as a backup (just in case something happens to the retainers) but not everyone is like this.
