Q. Hi, i hvae just come across what is supposed to be the next generation in invisalign, invisalign g3. do you know of this?,
A. No I have not come across this. Invisalign are continually improving the product to cater for difficult cases. In the USA the dentists do get advancements earlier than we do. In April this year modifications were introduced. Dr R Kumar BDSLDSRCS

Q. I\’ve tried all types of braces on my upper jaw as the traditional braces fixed my lower teeth but nothing seems to work on my upper teeth, I have 3 very stubborn teeth that are quite twisted and I am willing to give invisalign a try before I get them pulled out! In your opinion would invisalign help with very twisted teeth?,
A. You may have to consider braces such as Damon braces to correct severely rotated teeth as Invisalign doesn\’t work very well on severely crooked or twisted teeth. Very difficult to say what your options are and therefore I recommend you go for a consultation with a dentist that offers many forms of orthodontic treatments, such as Damon braces, Invisalign, Clearstep etc

Q. I\’ve been quoted different prices for different types of invisible brace treatment and each time invisalign has been the most expensive, why is this? Why is invisalign the best invisible brace?,
A. Invisalign tends to be one of the more expensive brace systems because Invisalign is almost transparent and removable. Invisalign do charge dentists quite alot for aligners in the first place.

A. Hello, I am afraid, we cannot tell without knowing the exact dental history and without a proper examination. You might want to consider a new consultation with a Provider.

Q. I have two twisted teeth (next to my two front teeth). They\’re extremely twisted and I have had other braces before but they didn\’t work. What are the chances of invisalign being able to help me?,
A. Hello, It depends on the degree of the rotation of your teeth. If your case is relapsed after your previous treatment you might need other type of retainer. A consultation with a Invisalign dentist helps you to find out about your options.

Q. Hey i have like 5 bottom teeth that all stick out, one is straight the other sticks out and it carries on like that. They stick out pretty bad and they don\’t look nice at all. my top teeth are fine so i wouldn\’t want braces on the top but will the invisible braces help my teeth in this case?,
A. Hello, Your crowing might be resolved with Invisalign aligner. However,I would advise a consultation with a dentist who could check whether your bite/ teeth make it possible to treat only the lower jaw.

Q. Helloooo okay so i\’m 19 years old and my parents are buying me braces as a birthday present (because they cost so much!) i\’m considering invisalign but have a few questions. Firstly, how invisible are they? how long on average does a person have to wear them for AND do they hurt? i had fixed metal ones before and they were agonizing! thank you dr :),
A. They are fairly transparent. Treatment duration depends on the amount of movement your teeth need to move. Varies from 6 months to 3 years! When you do put in a new Invisalign aligner, the teeth do feel sore but nobody has ever said to me that the pain is agonizing.

Q. Hello i have really large front teeth (just the two at the front) and have struggled wearing other braces in the past because of them, can invisalign help me?,
A. The Invisalign system will move the front teeth but obviously it will not alter the size or the shape of these teeth. If this is the problem then I suggest that Invisalign may not be the right solution for you. I would recommend you seek the advice of a cosmetic dentist.
