Q. I started my invisalign treatment few days ago. In my first day of wearing them I started to have very strong feeling of vomiting. I took them out for the night yesterday evening because even after I eat I had this strong feeling. My doctor already put 8 attachments on my teeth which makes me very uncomfortable without the trays. I signed the contract without giving me 5 minutes to read this. My doctor didn\’t explain me anything and I am not happy at all with her attitude. I already gave a lot of money and I don\’t know anything about what\’s going on. Yesterday I read on the Internet that usually it\’s not good to have in the first day the attachments for some reason. Is this true? What can I do? Can I change my doctor or can I choose another brace? Can I quit if I can\’t become used with this? I need to work and I need to live my life normally, my health is more important for me than this treatment I am waiting your answer. Thank you very much.,
A. Hello, Minor discomfort can be accepted during the firts couple of your aligners. If the aligner is hurting you it could be smoothed as well. Regarding the attachment everybody`s treatment is different and the Clincheck ( your digital plan by Invisalign) tells when to put them on. I would advise you to have an appointment with your provider and in the mean time try to increase the time the aligner is on your teeth.

Q. I forgot to write: my doctor didn\’t show me the 3D picture what the invisalign company sent it to see how my teeth will look when I finish the treatment. I didn\’t see anything, I don\’t know anything about all this treatment. Is this ok and normal? I never went to a dental clinic before in England and even my intuititon told me during the last months that something is not quite right I didn\’t stop. Is it too late now to change thinks? Thanks.,
A. Hello, The ClinCheck mainly helps the doctor to plan and follow up your treatment. Try to finish at least your first aligner and see how it goes. I am sure with time the discomfort dissapears. Also I would advise you to see your dentist.

Q. I don\’t feel that invisalign is working but how can I tell for sure?,
A. Hello, First, you might want to mention it to your dentist. Secondly, if the certain aligner is getting lose by the end of the second week is indirectly shows that the plan is working. You could always have a look at your Clincheck at the dentist.

Q. how long was the longest you treated someone? my case is pretty complex i\’ve been told and fear that i\’ll have to wear braces all of my life i\’ve already tried other fixed braces and they failed any sort of time outline would be great thanks,
A. Hello, Without seeing your teeth it is difficult to tell. I would recommend a consultation with a provider who could evaluate your case. If you are a good candidate for Invisalign your ClinCheck would note the lenght of your treatment and the number of aligners.

Q. Hi. i have just been given my retainer but it doesn\’t fit properly. it feels really loose. is it supposed to feel so loose? what should i do?,
A. The retainer should be a snug fit. Check it is invisalign Vivera retainer. It is based of your clincheck imaging and the last fitting aligner. You get 3 sets per jaw.

Q. I\’ve got a gap in my two front teeth and I\’ve had braces before but didn\’t wear the retainers I don\’t want to go through all that again just want a quick fix ho long and how much does it cost to get invisalign and how long would I have to wear them for thank you,
A. Hello, Invisalign might be a very comfortable and quick way to reposition your relapsed teeth. Depending on the difficulties, the treatment starts from around £1500-2000. I would recommend a consultation with a dentist to talk through your options regarding both the braces and the retainers. The ClinCheck plan can predict the lenght of your plan as well.

Q. I\’m just wondering if the invisalign braces need spacers? One of my friends has them and she has several spacers in her upper mouth but not the bottom.is this normal? Would it be the same for me? thanks,
A. Hello, Attachments sometimes need in order to move the teeth more effectively. It depends on the teeth, on the plan whether we use them or not. On your ClinCheck attachments are cleary marked.
