Should I worry that there is a crack in aligner?

October 22nd, 2009
Q.
There is a small crack in my aligner. I only just noticed it today, after wearing them for under a week. Should I be worried that it will affect the treatment? It seems to be ok as far as I know.

What is done once invisalign treatment is complete to make sure the teeth remain straight. Will they not just move back toward their original position as soon as I stop wearing aligners?

Is it normal for the bite to change during invisalign?

October 21st, 2009
Q.
Is it normal for the bite to change slightly during invisalign treatment? I am just down to get teeth straightened, but my bite feels different as well. Should I be worried that this is a side-effect of the aligners?

Does invisalign help to improve TMJ?

October 21st, 2009
Q.
I am wearing invisalign aligners to help straighten my teeth. However, I have also had an improvement with mr TMJ since wearing the aligners and can not even recall the last time my jaw made that horrible popping sound. I was not expecting this to happen. Is invisalign known for being able to help with this condition, or is this just a lucky side-effect?

October 21st, 2009
Q.
I have a horrible 5 mm gap at the front of my teeth. It has been the vain of my existence as far as I am concerned. I would like to get this sorted, and was wondering if invisalign is able to close gaps at the front of the teeth? Or, if not, are there any other options?
