How long before I can get my aligners?

I have just had a consultation for invisalign and have decided I am going to get them. The dentist said I would need moulds of my teeth or something like that to make the aligners? Could you tell me how long it will actually be before I can go ahead with the treatment and get on with straightening my teeth?

Is invisalign teetn only for teens?

I know the invisalign teen treatment has the word ‘teen’, but is it actually only for teenagers? Is it not more based on the specific case and whether teeth can be straightened quickly as they are not too crooked or ount? I am early twenties but am hoping I am not too far gone in terms of age.

Have my teeth moved since impressions were taken?

What is the invisalign system?

I have wanted to get my teeth straightened for quite some times now but as with most I have been put off my the mere fact that I don’t want to be wearing braces for a year or so. But now I have come across the invisalign system and I am just wondering how different this is from the normal braces?
