Q. When I was younger I had fixed braces and this involved getting four teeth removed toward the back of my mouth. Sadly, my teeth have gradually moved back to their original position, particularly my front teeth. There are a few brace systems I have read about like Invisalign, Inman Aligner and 6 Month Smiles. Would you happen to know which one would be most suitable for my particular condition? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.,
A. Invisalign can be used in the treatment of extraction case like yours. The reason for the relapse in your case would be lack of long term retention. Inman aligner and the 6 month smile only focus on the front teeth and are limited to mild cases of misalignment of the front teeth

Q. Hi Dr Patel. I am here to ask if you could give me some details on the differences between invisible braces and the inman aligner. They both seem pretty similar to me but I am not all that sure really. Will they both sort out crooked teeth just as well as one another. Also, is it only invisalign you can get a free consultation for?
A. An inman aligner can only only improve certain types of crooked or spaced teeth and only truly works on the FRONT FOUR TEETH. Invisalign is a much more comprehensive treatment. They are both good for different circumstances.

Q. One of my front teeth sticks out before the other one. I hate the look of it but it does not affect my bite. Would invisalign be the best choice or do you know of anything better as it is only the one tooth?
A. Invisalign or 6 month smile or maybe an inman aligner could treat you, find a dentist who does multiple types of braces so you can get the best treatment for your individual situation.

Q. Hello Dr Kumar, Could you please advise me on the difference between Invisalign and the Inman Aligner as these two are the treatments I am considering. If it is not too much trouble could you please tell me whether you have free consultations for these treatments?
A. Dear Sir/Madam, It woudl be easier to show you at the practice the vast difference between the 2.
yes we do do free consultations but only if you think we are a quality practice and that you may have treatment from us. We hate being an advisory service for patients to go elsewhere for the cheaper and more damaging deal.

Q. Is invisalign similar to the inman aligner system or is it much better?
A. it i smuch better. Inmam is only good for pushing lower teeth out.
If it was so good I would have used it in the 6 years Ive been using Invisalign

Q. Hi there, I have moderate overcrowding ie too many teeth in my mouth. My upper row is fine. The bottom row has too many teeth. It means that the two at the front seem fine but the ones either side protudes upwards and are being pushed back this gives a unsightly dracula effect. what would be my options in your professional opinion, and what would be the quickest ?? regards.
A. There are many forms of teeth staightnening that are good for treating crowded teeth, ie invisalign, inman aligner, damon braces, six month braces. It is very difficult to say what the best form of treatment is for you without a clinical exam and without looking at your teeth and your bite. I would recommend you book in for a consultation with a dentist that carries out the treatments above to explore the options available for you.

Q. Hi Dr, I have had the inman aligner on my bottom teeth for 4 weeks and the pain is getting worse. The plastic which rests on the gum has caused a deep indentation on one side and this is where the majority of the pain is coming from. Is this normal ? Thanks, Kye
A. I would advise you go and see your dentist, as it is very difficult to say what the cause of the pain is without seeing your teeth.

Q. Hello i have a slight overbite and i was wondering if inman aligner would be able to fix my overbite because i dont really want braces, but ive heard inman aligner only straightens your teeth? Thank you in advance
A. Hello,
It is very difficult to tell without an examination whether you can have inman aligner or not.Inman is not as versatile as invisalign so it is better to see a dentist for a consultation.

Q. i read on your ask the expert site that inman aligners are only good for pushing teeth out does this mean that my two teeth that come out more then the other teeth will not be pushed back in line with the straight teeth and that instead the straight teeth will be pushed out to meet the crooked ones instead thank you.
A. dear User. I have no experience of using The Inman Aligner and so cannot comment on this particular form of treatment
