Q. How much can I buy the invisalign retainers for on average? My dentist is charging me £400 for 3 which I think is ridiculous and he did they they were included with the price but when the treatment ended he said he had to get them from a new technician or something!,
A. Hello, It is a very good thing to have a ( or two) spare retainer. Incase something happens to your old one.Prices may vary because of the the Lab fee.You might want to discuss it with your provider.

Q. I am going to need refinements and they are included in the original price. Is this for impressions and all that? Will it be the same length to wear each one as before? Hope you can answer.,
A. The cost of the refinements are usually included. There may be up to 10 new aligners for mild refinement. Each one should be worn for 2 weeks each.

A. All dentists offer different plans. At my practice reatiners are include din the price as they are so important.

Q. I have visited two different dentists for Invisalign dr. And they seem to give quite different estimates, but I am not sure why this is? Is there a difference in standards or is one just going to add costs on at a later date to bump up the cost?,
A. Each dentist can give a difference price for the treatment, it depends what they include in the treatment and who does most of it i.e. dentist or therapist. If a dentist is more experienced, he/she may wish to charge more.

Q. my orthodontist has mentioned that i would need a retainer at the end of the treatment but hasn\’t included it with the invisalign costs, he said i have to pay for it separately at the end. He also said I have to pay for refinements too, i thought all of this was included, i\’m really confused, is this right?,
A. These charges are only added if you have paid less than 3000 for you rortho treatment. Every dentist is different, I charge 4000 and everything is inc;luded, no matter if it is 1-3 refinements Dr R Kumar

Q. I have been quoted 300 pounds for the imaging and 4500 pounds for invisalign. Then I have been quoted 500 pounds per crown (4 recommended). Up to 3 teeth may need to be removed. All in quote to fix teeth is approx 7000 pounds. Payment option is during treatment only (I believe). Does that sound reasonable?,
A. Each clinic will have different fees, but your quote seems to be reasonable. Please note that prices will vary depending on complexity of treatment, materials (for the crowns) used etc.

Q. Hi there My invisalign treatment is going to cost £4000. The main problem tooth being one canine tooth that protrudes, and needs to be twisted back into place. (the rest of my teeth are pretty much straight). In your opinion do you think this sounds an exessive cost and am i being ripped off? Many thanks,
A. It depends often when the rest of the teeth are straight the movemnt to correct teeth can be quite difficult. Even though your teeth may appear straight they may need coreection to improve your bite.

Q. My teeth are still not right after having the invisalign treatment for several months and after paying thousands of pounds. Can my ortho do something else to fix my teeth? he hasn\’t mentioned refinements or anything like that but i\’m really not happy!,
A. You should have refinement to achieve the desired result. Align technology does incorporate refinement treatment as part of the package at no extra cost.
