Why are there different prices of invisible braces?

Q. Hi, I\’d like to get invisalign braces but am confused by the pricing. On this site it says the average cost is £3000. I called a local dentist who quoted an average of £2500 and online I can see prices as low as £895 – £1495. The £895 dentist is apparently a platinum invisalign specialist. Could you shed any light on why there is such a price difference? Do you think it would be ok to go to the cheaper dentists? Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer me.,
A. The cost does vary from practice to practice! and some practices offer a special limited offer price. However be warned that an £895 dentist may charge more for the impressions, xrays, photos, review appointments, retainers etc. Or you may see a platinum invisalign specialist for the initial consultation but the rest of your appointments may be with a hygienist, therapist or nurse. Whereas a £3000 dentist may not charge any additional extras and all your appointments are with him/her. Invisalign Anterior (front teeth 6 moving only) vs Invisalign Full (potentially all the side and back teeth moving too). It is important to compare like for like!
