Dr Darren Cannell

Dr Darren Cannell was the first Platinum Elite Invisalign provider to provide Invisalign orthodontics in the North West, creating beautiful smiles effectively and discreetly.

Darren began his dental career after graduating in 2001 from Newcastle University Dental School, when he attained the esteemed 'James Coltman Award' for his dexterity in Operative Dentistry.

Darren continued his dental development in his native Liverpool, gathering further experience and proficiency in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry and then established two thriving practices within the North West.

Darren didn't stop his education there and in 2008 finished a Dental Implantology foundation module at the University of Sheffield. After this he began a renowned Implant training course (One to One) at Sheffield's Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, recognised as one of the best implant training courses in the UK. Darren completed the course and then expanded his knowledge with additional implant training in both Europe and the UK.

Ever eager to further his dental knowledge, Darren continued to study different aspects of dentistry throughout the UK, Europe and America, attending courses and workshops on smile design, smile rehabilitation and smile aesthetics, held by the most renowned names in dentistry, including Dr Smallwood, Dr Rosenthal and Dr Fahl. He has also completed the 'Advanced NobelGuide TM' and 'All-on-4' courses held at the eminent Malo Clinic Lisbon, Portugal.

Darren first gained his Invisalign qualification in 2006 and through further study and experience increased his Invisalign level to Platinum Elite. Darren is extremely dedicated to the discreet treatment of his patients and can combine orthodontic treatment with implants and CEREC replacements for a complete smile makeover.

Dr Andy Stafford

Dr Andy Stafford is a Restorative and Cosmetic dentist, providing solutions to even the most complex dental problems. Whether you suffer from tooth loss, stained teeth or are in need of orthodontic treatment, Andy, with his years of training and experience, can treat the majority of cases.

A 2001 graduate from the University of Newcastle, Andy started his dental career managing a number of successful teeth whitening practices and is skilled in the use of every whitening system available today. Andy has completed over 500 teeth whitening procedures and can combine his extensive knowledge of whitening with other dental treatments, such as Invisalign.

Andy has always invested in the best dental technologies for his patients and has used the innovative CEREC system for over 7 years. He also likes to keep up to date with the newest techniques and studied with '10 years younger' dentist Steve Sharma to hone his skills in the use of 'same-day' restorations, including crowns, veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays. Andy also attends courses and programmes held throughout the UK, America and Canada to ensure he is always at the forefront of any dental advancement.

In 2006 he concluded a foundation module in Dental Implantology at the University of Sheffield and then furthered his Implantology studies at St Annes dental clinic, Manchester. He can now offer the full array of dental implant treatments from fixed bridgework to full mouth rehabilitations. He can also provide 'teeth-in-an-hour' and 'All-on-4' treatment after studying at the Malo Clinic Lisbon, Portugal. Andy has successful placed over 300 dental implants to date.

He can also provide a variety of orthodontic treatments, using some of the dental industry's best and most innovative systems including the Inman Aligner, Clearstep and Invisalign. He is also the first Platinum Elite Invisalign supplier in the North East and can use the system to treat a number of orthodontic problems.
